800 Pound Gorilla to Launch Stand-Up Comedy Streaming Service (EXCLUSIVE)

800 Pound Gorilla, the stand-up comedy production and distribution house, is getting into the streaming business with a new, premium, ad-free service called Gorilla Comedy+.

Launching May 5, the streamer will feature exclusive new specials alongside the full 800 Pound Gorilla catalog, which includes more than 250 titles. At launch, the platform will give subscribers first access to Patton Oswalt’s latest hour, “Tea and Scotch,” alongside specials from Sal Vulcano, Emmy Blotnick, Pete Holmes, Jourdain Fisher, Nish Kumar and more.
