Real estate brokers Oren and Tal Alexander and their brother, security executive Alon Alexander, were sentenced to 30 years in prison on Tuesday by a federal judge after being found guilty at trial of conspiracy to traffic women and girls for sex.

Federal Judge Valerie E. Caproni handed down the three-decade sentences before a packed courtroom. The brothers, who have denied any wrongdoing, had asked for 15-year sentences following the guilty verdict. Prosecutors sought life, but Caproni said she considered that punishment “draconian.”

None of the brothers took the stand at their federal trial, where a Manhattan jury found all three guilty on all counts in a verdict read on March 9. Eleven women testified over the course of the trial. Alon and Tal were also convicted of sex trafficking of a minor. Alon and Oren were convicted of aggravated sexual abuse by force or intoxicant and sexual abuse of a physically incapacitated person.

At trial, prosecutors showed the jury a video of Oren Alexander raping an incapacitated 17-year-old girl in 2009.

At sentencing, 11 victims addressed the court for nearly 90 minutes. A 12th victim was expected to speak but asked the government to read her statement on her behalf.

Prosecutors alleged in the indictment and at trial that the brothers used their wealth and influence to lure women and, in some cases, drug, sexually assault and rape them.

The brothers have also faced about two dozen civil lawsuits, including one from Tracy Tutor of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.”

More to come.
