Beaches, A New Musical” will play its final Broadway show on May 24 after just 28 previews and 38 regular performances at the Majestic Theatre.

“Beaches” began previews on March 27 and opened at the Majestic on April 22. Since then, the show has struggled to sell enough tickets to justify production costs. Reviews for “Beaches” were also mixed, and the musical failed to earn any Tony nominations.
