The Bears and Packers are facing off at Lambeau Field for a week five game in the teams’ long-running rivalry. Tyson Bagent will start at quarterback for the Bears while Caleb Williams recovers from a hamstring strain. Bagent led the team to a 23-12 win over the New York Jets last week, and the Bears are enjoying a two-game win streak. The Bears are modest favorites to win the game, according to ESPN.

The Packers, led by quarterback Jordan Love, are 2-2 this season, and come off a win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bears have won their last two meetings against the Packers, both at Chicago’s Soldier Field. The last time the Bears beat the Packers at Lambeau Field was in January 2025. The Packers will don an alternate “rivalries” uniform featuring vintage colors and a reinterpretation of their classic logo.
Off the field, the Bears are in ongoing discussions with Illinois lawmakers over where the team will play—and whether it will continue to be in the Prairie State. The Bears are looking to leave the aging Soldier Field, and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss the team’s potential plan to build a stadium in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights.
