The UN warns of another hunger crisis, with millions at risk of starvation

Somalia is yet again unable to feed its people, with about six million facing high levels of hunger on a scale not seen in years.

The World Food Programme (WFP) says a combination of drought, conflict and displacement means many Somalis are not getting enough to eat.

Instability has complicated aid delivery for more than three decades, with the situation now worsened by severe cuts in international aid.

The WFP says it has only a fraction of the funding needed to provide assistance.
