Peacock has released a full trailer for the new Linda Cardellini-led series “Crystal Lake.” The show, a prequel to the events of “Friday the 13th,” is set to premiere on the streamer on Oct. 15. 

The trailer opens on Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees in 1971, transporting audiences back to the mother’s life before the events of the first film. That includes the drowning of her son, Jason, and what happens to her life after — namely, her murderous, revenge-fuelled descent following the incident.
