Edward Bluemel has suited up as famed Agatha Christie detective Hercule Poirot in a first look at the upcoming BBC and BritBox series “Hercule.”

The six-part show, which is shooting now in Liverpool, is an “intimate study of Hercule Poirot the man and an epic portrait of Britain between the wars,” according to a press release. “‘Hercule’ will center around three of Christie’s early stories, while also introducing Hercule Poirot to future friends and allies and one particular nemesis.”
