Emilia Jones to Star in Netflix Series Adaptation of ‘The Retrievals’ Podcast

Emilia Jones has been cast in a lead role in the upcoming Netflix limited series “The Retrievals,” Variety has learned.

The series, which is based on the New York Times and Serial Productions podcast of the same name, was originally announced in May.

The logline states that the show “follows an unlikely community of IVF patients who come together to crusade against Yale University after they are operated on without anesthesia–because a nurse stole their fentanyl.”
