BBC/Monumental/Robbie Gray Germany is set to get a second season of “Ghosts,” the hit BBC Studios sitcom format — originated in the U.K. — in which a group of ghosts from across history haunt a country house.
The news was announced at a BBC Studios panel at Series Mania, where Eva Holtmann, head of fiction for the BBC’s commercial arm in Germany confirmed the show would be returning.
“We’re so happy that we’re going to produce a second season, so ‘Ghosts’ will be coming back to Germany,” she said. “It was the perfect ensemble, and we are producing that in the summer, again for our commissioner, ARD and WDR.”
