Courtesy The Artemis Rising Foundation and Think-Film Impact Production are back in Cannes with the Golden Globes to present the Golden Globes Prize for Documentary.
The juried prize honors a documentary filmmaker with a feature in the 2026 official Cannes Film Festival selection, and whose body of work as a whole tackles urgent social issues while making a significant contribution to the documentary field.
The winning documentary will receive a cash prize of from the Artemis Rising Foundation as part of a celebration of nonfiction films — including panels — at the Plage des Palmes May 18.

Scully, founder & CEO of Artemis Rising Foundation, actor Kelvin Harrison Jr., president of the Golden Globes Helen Hoehne, producer and co-founder of Impact Partners Geralyn White Dreyfous and Danielle Turkov Wilson, CEO and founder of Think-Film Impact Production are the jurors, with Mariam Fakhroo, senior executive, Doha Film Institute, serving as jury observer.
