Hudson Williams is fronting the latest Peloton ad.

The 25-year-old Heated Rivalry breakout stars in a minute-long ad celebrating the joy of movement, according to a release. The campaign video, directed by Bethany Vargas, shows Williams cycling through different types of movement.

The ad kicks off with Williams dripping sweat in an all-white workout fit, dancing to David Bowie’s “Fame” on the company’s Tread+ equipment. The actor is joined by actual Peloton instructors including Tunde Oyeneyin, who gets into strength training with him. Keeping on theme about celebrating movement, Williams even performs a dance break, choreographed by Tyrik Patterson.

“’Let yourself go’ feels very in line with my beliefs. It’s amazing what fitness can do for your life. I think everyone needs a form of movement that liberates them,” Williams said in a release. “Movement is the quickest way to get out of sticky feelings. Whether that’s dancing or exercise… I think it’s just a key component, especially to how I live.”

The actor posted the video on his social media, adding some commentary, of course. “A great ad, great people but many blisters with this #ad but TOTALLY WORTH IT,” he said in the Instagram story. He then tagged the Peloton account and added, “can’t wait to see you at home baby,” with a winking emoticon.

The Peloton ad comes just one day after the music video for Laufey’s single “Madwoman” dropped, which finds Williams in the leading man role alongside the singer. The pair were joined by an all-star group of women in the music video including Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu, KATSEYE’s Megan Skiendiel and The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Lola Tung.

Williams shot to fame late last year following the release of Heated Rivalry, the queer hockey romance drama hailing from Canadian streamer Crave. The series, which aired on HBO Max in the U.S., centers on a fictional hockey universe based on books by Rachel Reid. The show follows two rival professional players — Canada-born Shane Hollander (Williams) of the fictitious Montreal Metros and Russia-born Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) of the fictitious Boston Raiders — as they navigate a near-decade-long situationship turned relationship.

Crave renewed Heated Rivalry for a second season, and HBO Max confirmed it will continue to air the series. Reid has announced that she’ll be publishing her seventh book in the Game Changers series, which Heated Rivalry and its sequel The Long Game belong to. The book, Unrivaled, will be the next chapter in Shane and Ilya’s story and is expected to be released in June 2027.

Next up, Williams can be found starring alongside Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid and Clark Backo in the half-hour Canadian drama Yaga. The series is based on the play by Kat Sandler, who serves as the show’s writer and showrunner, and is a contemporary reimagining of the myth of Baba Yaga set in a coastal town. Reteaming with Crave for the project, Williams is set to play Henry Park, the young heir to a powerful fishery, whose disappearance is at the center of the story.
