Carol Koonts; Courtesy Image Hulu has acquired the rights to the Liara Tamani novel “This Ain’t Our First Rodeo” with plans to develop it as a TV series, Variety has learned exclusively.
The YA novel was originally published in February by Greenwillow Books, an imprint of HarperCollins. The book is described as a contemporary Western love story set in the world of Houston’s rodeo. The official description states, “When life lassoes Josie and Shawn back together three years after their dreamy first date, their second chance at love is anything but easy.”
