Controversial filmmaker Tom Six is saying goodbye to his fans in a very personal way.

The writer-director has announced the release of his final movie, “The End of Tom Six.” The “Human Centipede” creator is independently releasing the film on Aug. 15 on YouTube with a pay-what-you-want model. It will also be available on DVD.

Per a press release, Six believes his inability to release his film “The Onania Club,” which featured a trailer with women masturbating to footage of Sept. 11, was a key component of his declining health.
