Jack White made a last-minute appearance at Coachella Weekend One, with the White Stripes rocker tearing through a cathartic set of hits from the band’s back catalog and the musician’s own solo releases, before a packed house at the Mojave Tent stage.
White’s appearance was revealed just two days before fans hit the desert for Coachella 2026, and it wasn’t the only surprise the singer had in store for the weekend: White also hit the stage wearing a pair of boots from his collaboration with footwear brand, John Fluevog.

Buy Now AT JOHN FLUEVOGDubbed “The Idol Jack,” the leather ankle boot was created in collaboration with White’s Third Man Records and first unveiled for John Fluevog’s 55th anniversary last year. The collab also arrived 17 years after John Fluevog first released a pair of boots inspired by White, which were named the “Jack” and a take on the brand’s popular “Vogs” style.
Now collaborating with the brand officially, White hit the Coachella stage in an all-white version of the Idol Jack boots, which feature a pointed toe, angled heel, and three statement straps with metal detailing. Slide into the boots easily with a zippered opening and back heel tab to pull on. The Fluevog x Third Man Records logos are stamped on the footsock. The boots sit on a 1.5-inch heel — so just enough to make a statement, but still easy to move around on whatever stage you’re working with.
LIMITED EDITION The Idol Jack Boot
$499
Buy Now AT JOHN FLUEVOGMade in Portugal, the Jack White x John Fluevog boots also come in a croc-embossed black leather design with eye-catching yellow straps. The boots come in unisex sizing running from a “men’s” 4 to men’s 13.
What we like: These leather boots will patina beautifully with age and break in for that coveted “vintage” look the more you wear them. While White paired his boots with a long-sleeve T-shirt and jeans, they can easily go with suits, trousers, and yes, a classic rock & roll leather jacket as well.
As John Fluevog says in a release, “The Jack boot is the kind of shoe that would have been voted ‘Most Likely to Take the Stage’ in high school. A metal front zipper, triple-strap design, quality stitching, and a newly-added inside zip for ease of wear all help to single them out from the crowd, while gorgeous leather uppers add the perfect amount of rock-star polish.”
Find the boots online for $499 while they’re still in stock. As for White, the singer isn’t expected to perform at Coachella Weekend Two, though there is still plenty of star power on the lineup. You can see a list of artists and find last-minute tickets here.
