Jason Sudeikis opened up on a recent episode of “Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso,” discussing his hopes for “Ted Lasso” Season 5, how the show “saved” him from “self-harm” and what the public got wrong about his closely followed 2020 split from ex Olivia Wilde.

Sudeikis and Fragoso talked “Ted Lasso” up top, as the host asked whether the actor wanted to continue the show for Seasons 5 and 6. (The Season 4 finale aired earlier this month.) Sudeikis said he “would like to,” but the status of future seasons remains unknown: “Yeah, I just don’t know,” he said, assuring Fragoso he wasn’t being coy “intentionally.” “We haven’t started a writers’ room or anything like that,” he noted. He added that he would “assume” Apple would continue the show if the main cast wanted to return.
