John Cena and Eric André have a tough time developing brotherly love in the trailer for the Netflix movie Little Brother.

Director Matt Spicer’s comedy feature is set for streaming release on June 26. Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, Ben Ahlers, Bryce Gheisar and Pilot Bunch round out the cast.

Little Brother centers on a well-known real estate agent (Cena) whose meticulously planned life is shaken up when his quirky “little brother” (André) suddenly resurfaces.

“He’s not my actual brother,” Cena laments in the trailer about reconnecting with André. “The timing on this couldn’t be worse.”

Later, André tries to encourage Monaghan to support her husband (Cena). “Our man is hurting right now,” André tells Monaghan. “You might want to think about eating that ass.”

Spicer (Ingrid Goes West) helmed Little Brother from a script by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel. Producers include David Bernad for Middle Child Pictures, in addition to Ruben Fleischer.

During a recent interview with Extra, Cena was asked about keeping a straight face opposite André. “They’re only going to show the seconds that I wasn’t laughing,” Cena quipped. “I honestly think we play off each other very well. He has an incredible sense of humor, and I’m a decent sounding board for that.”

Cena can soon be seen in the films Coyote vs. Acme and Matchbox: The Movie, and he also led the second season of HBO Max’s The Peacemaker that aired last year. André’s forthcoming features include Street Fighter and Animal Friends.
