Comedy Central Jon Stewart returned to “The Daily Show” desk Tuesday night and used the trailer for Nathan Fielder’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary “You Can See Everything” to troll President Donald Trump and his most dedicated aide, known to some as “the human printer.”
After attacking Trump for living in a “reality distortion field,” often rejecting the views and facts of experts and journalists in favor of his own outlook, Stewart mused, “Maybe it’s just better to be the guy in ‘The Matrix,’ going, ‘Oh, this blue pill’s not so bad! That reality has steak!’ But I know too much. How do I get there? Who would give me the blue pill?”
