On Tuesday night, the two country queens sang the live debut of their collaboration “Horses and Divorces,” which is featured on Musgraves’ new LP Middle of Nowhere. It was only right for Musgraves to bring out her fellow Texan during the final night of her three-night residency at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas.
“Well, you know, us East Texas girls gotta stick together, right, Miranda?” Musgraves said to introduce Lambert, according to fan videos from the night. The pair hugged before the “Dry Spell” singer asked, “Is this a dream? Is this really happening?” Lambert responded with an emphatically: “Tonight we bury the hatchet right here in Gruene Hall!”
