Arturo Holmes/Getty Images for Coachella Kacey Musgraves returned to the Coachella stage on Saturday and brought a whole lot of yee-haw energy to the music festival with new songs and her same old Texas charm.
Arriving to her set on horseback, the country queen took the stage at the Mojave Tent for her first performance at the festival in seven years. The last time Musgraves performed at Coachella was in 2019, when she rocked the main stage with songs from her 2018 LP Golden Hour. Her set from Saturday comes just weeks before the singer is set to release her seventh LP Middle of Nowhere on May 1.
Naturally, Musgraves used her moment onstage to deliver live debuts for four new songs from the album. The clever singer-songwriter channeled her playful spirit when she brought her raunchy lead single “Dry Spell” to life with fun visuals that mirrored the song’s music video:
