HBO Kate Berlant will make her HBO comedy special debut with “Parmesan,” a new hour from the beloved alt comic out Oct. 16.
Directed by Doron Max Hagay and filmed at the historic Plaza Nightclub in Los Angeles, “Parmesan” is described as a “hilarious tour-de-force that skewers the many contradictions of modern life and the art of stand-up comedy itself.”
Berlant offers her sharp reflections and stream-of-consciousness epiphanies about the moon, her social media feeds and her sexuality.
