King Charles III has issued a rare statement regarding a new book about his ex-wife, the late Princess Diana.

Written by Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, the book claims (according to reports) that after Diana’s sudden death in a car crash in 1997, Spencer got into a heated argument with Charles, then still heir to the throne. During the argument, Charles allegedly “hissed” at Spencer: “Rest assured, we’ll forget her soon enough!”
