Lionel Messi is set to suit up for Argentina at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but the soccer legend is also hoping to win big with his latest collaboration with the accessories brand Stanley.

The soccer star announced the launch of the Messi x Stanley 1913 Gold Collection last week on Instagram, with a photo of himself standing behind the collection of water bottles and tumblers as if he were posing with a collection of his trophies. “Hecha para brillar bajo las luces más intensas,” he wrote in the Instagram caption. The translation: “Made to shine under the brightest lights.”

Stanley officially calls its new golden hue the “Messi Legacy” colorway and it’s easy to see why: The 38-year-old is one of the biggest names in the sporting world, with eight Ballons d’Or to his name, and a momentous World Cup win with Argentina in 2022 (not to mention famous friends surnamed Beckham, Brady, and Kardashian).

Messi’s latest take on the Stanley Quencher Tumbler features a flip straw lid, a grippy non-slip handle, and double-walled vacuum insulation that keeps drinks cold for up to 11 hours. The tumbler is made from an “18/8 recycled stainless steel,” so named because it contains steel that is melted down and repurposed, along with 18% chromium and 8% nickel for rust resistance and anti-corrosion properties. Nods to the soccer legend abound in the new collection, including his stylized “M” logo, and the phrase “Start Early, Stay Late” — a tribute to his work ethic. Worth noting: This unit is sold out on the official Stanley site, but you can find the golden tumbler available through Dick’s Sporting Goods right now.

This tumbler features a top handle for easy carrying along with a leak-proof lid with built-in straw, and Stanley’s double-walled insulation. This IceFlow 2.0 model holds up to 30 oz. of liquid that can stay cold for up to 12 hours, per a product description. What we like: Stanley says the handle and lid are made from recycled plastics sourced from discarded fishing nets. And just like the Quencher Tumbler above, this one is sized to fit in your car’s cup holder with ease.

You can also get the Stanley IceFlow Flip Straw 2.0 in a slim and sleek gold-tone bottle. This one holds 24 oz. of liquid and keeps things cool for up to 10 hours. Stanley says the bottle is manufactured with “Aerolight Technology,” which makes it 33% lighter than most stainless steel water bottles on the market.

Stanley says this 64 oz. IceFlow Jug keeps drinks cold for up to 20 hours, while its large size means less frequent trips to refill your bottle. This model features the “Start Early, Stay Late” slogan in bold block letters at the base of the jug. The carrying handle, meantime, features a built-in “fence hook” to let you hang the jug up, say, if you’re at an outdoor court or park.

This is the fourth drop in the ongoing Messi x Stanley 1913 collaboration, and the brand says this release is, “As golden as his legacy, celebrating the talent, discipline and resilience of the world’s greatest.”

As with all Stanley Cup collabs, this new Messi collection is expected to sell quickly, especially ahead of the World Cup. In fact, an “Everyday Tumbler” and a gold “Mate Mug” are already sold out.

The Stanley drop also comes on the heels of Messi’s latest cologne release, which sees the stylish star launching his Messi Elixir Parfum Intense on Ulta.com. Released last month, the fragrance is at once light and vibrant, with notes of mint, grapefruit and geranium, accented with vanilla, nutmeg, and sandalwood.

Calling this launch the “trophy” of the Messi Fragrances portfolio, a description says the Messi Elixir Parfum Intense exudes “confidence, sophistication and quiet strength.”

While Messi is busy launching his new products in time for the World Cup, his status for the actual tournament remains unclear. The Inter Miami CF soccer star appeared to have injured his hamstring during the MLS team’s 6-4 victory over the Philadelphia Union on May 24. Argentinian fans — and soccer fans in general — are no doubt hoping for a speedy recovery before the World Cup Group Stage opens on June 11.
