President Trump is holding off on a massive attack on Iran despite warning that the U.S. “locked and loaded and ready to go,” citing a request by Iran and Middle East countries tied to the outline of a deal being agreed upon.
“Based on this request, I have agreed, for the future benefit of the WORLD and, likewise, the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran, to cancel the attack, subject to being able to rapidly make a DEAL,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform late Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Trump ending a subsidy program that helped keep costs down for Medicare drug coverage could undermine his administration’s message of affordability and cutting drug costs ahead of the November midterms.
