Al Pacino in 'Maserati: The Brothers.' The Andrea Iervolino Company A stellar cast Hollywood stars, including Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Alba and Andy Garcia feature in the first trailer of Maserati: The Brothers, the motorsport biopic about the family behind the famed Italian car marque.
The period film, shot on location in Italy’s automotive capital Modena as well as at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios, tells the story of the Maserati brothers — Alfieri (Michele Morrone), Bindo (Salvatore Esposito) and Carlo (Lorenzo De Moor) — and their attempts to become the first Italian carmaker to win the coveted Indianapolis 500, which the brand famously did in 1939 and 1940.

Anthony Hopkins in ‘Maserati: The Brothers.’ The Andrea Iervolino Company Pacino will portray businessman Vincenzo Vaccaro, a champion of Maserati family and an early investor in the auto dynasty. Hopkins also stars as an early backer of the Maserati brothers.
Robert Moresco‘s directed the film from a script by Amanda Moresco and Stefano Torrisi. Diane Warren also penned an original song for the feature.
Notably the project is suffused with Oscar-laden talent. Pacino and Hopkins have both won best actor Academy Awards (two prizes in the case of the Welsh icon), and Moresco won a best original screenplay Oscar for Crash in 2005. Garcia has also been nominated for an Oscar and Warren famously has been nominated for 17 competitive Academy Awards, but has yet to win one.
Jessica Alba in ‘Maserati: The Brothers.’ The Andrea Iervolino Company Maserati comes from producers The Andrea Iervolino Company and is the company’s third biopic about an Italian automotive legend. Moresco directed the 2022 film Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend, starring Frank Grillo as Ferruccio Lamborghini and Michael Mann helmed the 2024 feature Ferrari, with Adam Driver starring as Enzo Ferrari. A fourth automotive biopic is on the way from Andrea Iervolino, with the company set to produce Bugatti, based on the life of Ettore Bugatti.
