The streamer on Wednesday released the first trailer for season three of My Life with the Walter Boys starring Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry.
The second season of the Netflix hit ended on a cliffhanger with Jackie (Rodriguez) and Cole (LaLonde) finally confessing their feelings for each other, but Cole’s brother — and Jackie’s boyfriend — Alex (Gentry) hears the confession. Things take an even bigger turn when the trio is interrupted by the arrival of an ambulance to rush Walter patriarch George to the hospital amid a health scare.

Season three kicks off after the cliffhanger with the family reeling from George being taken to the hospital and Jackie, Cole and Alex left to deal with the fallout of that big love confession.
Netflix’s synopsis of the third season reads: “Season 3 sees the Walters realize what’s important in the fallout from this – and discover that it’s okay to go after what you want. With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver’s seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected.”
The ongoing love triangle has been at the center of the show’s two seasons, with Jackie’s dilemma always being that she “genuinely loves both brothers,” showrunner Melanie Halsall told The Hollywood Reporter after the season two finale.
“At the heart of our show is a love triangle and I don’t know if those can ever really be truly resolved, as someone is always going to get their heart broken,” Halsall added at the time.
The series, based on the novel of the same name by Ali Novak, is produced by Sony Pictures Television, International Production and iGeneration Studios.
The 10-episode season also stars Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, Jaylan Evans, Zoë Soul, Isaac Arellanes, Myles Perez, Alex Quijano, Ashley Tavares, Erin Karpluk, Dean Petriw, Alix West Lefler, Lennix James, Alisha Newton, Ellie O’Brien, Kolton Stewart, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Jesse Lipscombe, Nathaniel Arcand, Natalie Sharp, Janet Kidder, Riele Downs and Jake Manley.
Ed Glauser, Becky Hartman Edwards exec produce.
