Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has called the selectors' decision to make sweeping changes to the squad and remove head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed ahead of the third and final Test against England as the "most shocking ever".
Selectors have axed seven players, including wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, batter Imam-ul-Haq and spinner Ali Usman, after the tourists' 194-run defeat at Lord's left them 2-0 down with just one match to play, at Edgbaston from September 9.
