Courtesy of CJ ENM “Paradise Lost,” the latest mystery-thriller from “Train to Busan” and “Hellbound” filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho, has been bought by Well Go USA Entertainment ahead of its world premiere at Toronto.
“Paradise Lost” will bow Sept. 13 at Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre as part of TIFF’s Special Presentations lineup, marking Yeon’s fourth appearance at the festival.
Starring Kim Hyun-joo and Bae Hyeon-seong, the film follows a mother whose young son mysteriously disappears along with a bus full of children. Years later, he unexpectedly returns — but has changed in ways she could never have imagined.
