Alan Ritchson, who stars in the Prime Video series Reacher, is at the center of a police investigation tied to an alleged assault, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which involved the actor and his neighbor.

Ronnie Taylor, a Brentwood, Tennessee resident, claimed Ritchson punched him four times in an intense exchange stemming from a noise disturbance over the weekend.

While the incident is said to have occurred on Sunday, Taylor and Ritchson reportedly experienced their first confrontation with each other on Saturday. Ritchson was riding around the neighborhood on his motorcycle when Taylor raised his middle finger to him. When the actor returned the following day on the same vehicle, Taylor reportedly asked him, “Can you fucking stop this please?” This is presumably the moment when the dispute escalated into physical violence.

Brentwood Police Captain Steve Pepin confirmed to THR that authorities are investigating the incident, though “no arrests have been made” in the case. The Brentwood Police Department did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment regarding the investigation.

In an interview with TMZ published on Sunday, Taylor claimed he pushed Ritchson, who was coming towards him on his bike, before being hit in the back of the head. “I went to the ground and covered myself,” he said in a video, which showed visible bruising on his forehead. “I don’t wish the guy any malice or ill will, but we just don’t need people riding through neighborhoods like this. I decided to take a stand.”
