Photo: Elias Tahan Singer-songwriter-actor and “Yellowstone” star Ryan Bingham has signed with WME for worldwide representation in music, the company announced on Thursday. He continues to be represented by Jack Whigham at Range Media Partners for film and television.
Bingham has had a remarkably versatile career that stretches back nearly 25 years. He released his indie debut album, “Wishbone Saloon,” in 2002 and his major-label bow, “Mescalito,” five years later. But he broke into the national consciousness in 2010 by co-writing and performing two songs on the soundtrack for the hit film “Crazy Heart,” including the song “The Weary Kind,” which earned him an Oscar, a Grammy, a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award. He was named Artist of the Year by the Americana Music Association the same year.
