Savannah Guthrie on the set of 'The Today Show.' MEGA/GC Images Savannah Guthrie shared a poignant tribute to her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since Feb. 1. The Today Show host posted a compilation of video clips in honor of Mother’s Day, including several showcasing the mother and daughter together.
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath,” Guthrie wrote on Instagram. “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.”
She continued, “We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”

Nancy, 84, went missing from her Tucson, Arizona, on Feb. 1. She was last seen on Jan. 31 and is believed to have been taken from her home against her will, as the FBI released photos of a masked assailant approaching the elderly woman’s front door in the middle of the night. Guthrie and her family have since offered a $1 million reward in hopes of getting information about the whereabouts of their mother. Police have detained several persons of interest but have not charged anyone.
After a two-month hiatus from work, Guthrie returned to The Today Show in April. She was replaced in the interim by Hoda Kotb, who previously exited the show in 2025 after nearly 20 years. The pair sat down in March for Guthrie’s first interview since her mother went missing.
