During Tuesday’s episode of the CBS late night talk show, guests Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Pedro Pascal hinted at some jealousy that Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon got to lock lips with Colbert the night before.
This all started Monday night, when other late night hosts — Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver and Seth Meyers — reunited with Colbert on The Late Show. At one point, while playing a game, the group was asked, “Have you guys ever made out with a guest on camera?”

Colbert proceeded to specifically look at Fallon, who asked, “Why would you look at me like this?” The host replied, “Cause I think you’ve made out with guests on camera,” to which Fallon snapped, “No, I think you just want to make out with me.”
The Late Show host then pulled Fallon in for a kiss. After, a pleasantly surprised Tonight Show host added, “Wow! Did not see it going there.”
Colbert later revealed that he’s also shared a smooch with Sally Field, Helen Mirren, Allison Janney, Jeff Daniels and Andrew Garfield at one point or another throughout his run on the CBS program. “Jane Fonda, we did not make out but she stuck her tongue in my ear,” he added.
Fast forward to Tuesday, and it seems like the Fallon kiss was clearly on Louis-Dreyfus’ mind as she had Colbert play the Monday night clip again.
She then hinted that she wanted to join Colbert’s list of guests that he’s snogged. “No one’s watching. It’s just between us,” the Veep star said, to which the host replied, “What harm is there?”
“None! What could possibly go wrong?” Louis-Dreyfus quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.
The pair then shared a kiss as the room erupted in cheers. “Well, the interview’s going great so far,” Colbert joked after. “Why don’t we do another take?”
Well, the smoothing didn’t stop there. Later in the episode, after Pascal sat down to chat with the host, The Last of Us actor signaled that he wanted something, and not just anything, from Colbert as well. The duo then locked lips as the audience loudly cheered once again
“I got jealous,” Pascal quipped, to which Colbert responded, “No need! Anytime. These lips will soon be free.”
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will air its final episode on May 21.
