The final week of Love Island USAs eighth season was the show’s biggest one on record — for the second time this season.

The Peacock hit recorded just under 2 billion minutes of viewing time (1.997 billion, to be precise) for the week of July 6-12, according to Nielsen’s streaming ratings. That’s a little above its previous high of 1.97 billion minutes, set two weeks earlier. Love Island finished atop the overall chart for the fourth time in its six weeks of new episodes this season, during which it accumulated 10.73 billion viewing minutes — up about 23 percent vs. last season.

Peacock had two shows in the top 10 original series for the week: The Five Star Weekend, which premiered July 9, drew 629 million minutes of watch time to finish fifth. Peacock has renewed the show for a second season.

Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie reboot finished second among original series (and third overall) with 926 million minutes for its opening week (season two is currently filming). House of the Dragon hit the midway point of its third season with 969 million minutes of viewing on HBO Max, its best mark this year and good enough to lead the acquired series chart (Nielsen classifies the show that way because it airs simultaneously on HBO’s cable channel).

Dutton Ranch remained in the top 10 a week after its season finale on Paramount+, drawing 509 million minutes of viewing. Elle had 499 million minutes of watch time for Prime Video, identical to its premiere week. Apple TV’s Silo (385 million) also re-entered the charts a week after its third season premiered.

Streaming chart fixture Bluey took up two spots in the acquired show rankings thanks to Disney+ launching a separately titled Bluey Compilations — 45-minute blocks of similarly themed episodes. The nine compilations drew 641 million viewing minutes, while the full series had 872 million.

Project Hail Mary led the movie charts for a second straight week with 922 million minutes on Prime Video, growing about 7 percent week to week.

Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and don’t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences. The top streaming titles for July 6-12, 2026, are below.
