Tennis has never been more in fashion.
On-court (and court-side) style will be on full display when the U.S Open returns to Flushing this weekend. Defending champions Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka headline a field that also includes Coco Gauff, Novak Djokovic, Jessica Pegula and Ben Shelton.
Earlier this year, the ATP launched “Athlete Arrivals,” tennis’s version of the NBA tunnel walk that gives players a dedicated fashion moment before matches, enlisting former GQ fashion director Mobolaji Dawodu to style stars including Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Alexander Zverev. The initiative grew out of an ATP Styling Studio first tested ahead of last year’s U.S Open.
