THR’s 96 noms also mark a personal record for the publication at the NAEJ Awards. Among them, THR’s Steven Zeitchik and Carly Thomas are up for print and online journalist of the year, respectively. THR‘s other noms span the breadth of categories from cover art to photos to investigative stories to illustrations.

In addition, KCRW’s Madeleine Brand has been chosen as the Los Angeles Press Club’s 2026 Luminary Awardee for Career Achievement, while singer, songwriter, author and human rights activist Brandi Carlile will be honored with the Visionary Award for Humanitarian Work.
