What started as a small kids’ toy line in the late Fifties has turned into one of the most sought-after collectibles around: the Little People franchise. Famous for shrinking some of the most iconic movie characters, TV shows, and even everyday professions down into mini figurines, the brand just came out with its latest release: Gilmore Girls.
Officially launched today, the Little People Gilmore Girls set brings members of the main cast — Lorelai, Rory, Emily, and Luke — into tiny little toys that both kids and more serious collectors (adults) can now grab online. The set is available on Amazon for $26.99 at the time of writing, and the brand notes that it “comes with a decorative box that features the famous Stars Hollow gazebo.”

We suggest not waiting too long on this launch, because with every flip of the calendar, we get closer and closer to what we (and the internet) like to call Gilmore Girls season. You know, that magical time of year when you just want to sit inside with the windows open, drink all things pumpkin spice, and fantasize about moving to a tiny Connecticut town where everyone knows your name. If only for a few hours. No? Just us?
Gilmore Girls premiered back in 2000 and ran for a total of seven seasons before coming to a close in 2007. It quickly became one of pop culture’s most devoted fandoms, and Gilmore Girls lovers can still stream the show on platforms like Hulu and Amazon Prime. The series continues to rack up millions of views, and remains just as watchable today, thanks in large part to its sweet showcase of a mother-daughter relationship, love interests, small-town drama, and, of course, that impossibly catchy theme song.
In addition to Gilmore Girls, some other popular franchises Little People has shrunk down include Clueless, The Devil Wears Prada, Marvel, and KPop Demon Hunters. Fisher-Price notes that each figure in their product line “stands over 2.5 inches tall.”
Display your Gilmore Girls Little People set next to your box collection of the show, gift it to the mega-fan in your life this holiday season, or start a new Gilmore Girls tradition with the smallest “Gilmie” you know. Who knows? Where you lead, they might follow.
