Victoria Monét has a new album on the way, as the R&B star revealed Wednesday that Frequency of Love will officially drop Oct. 2 via RCA.

Her second studio album overall, Frequency of Love will follow Monét’s 2023 debut, JAGUAR II, which won a Grammy for best R&B album while she herself won best new artist the same year. The album’s biggest hit, “On My Mama,” was regarded as one of the best songs of the year and earned Grammy nominations for record of the year and and best R&B song.

Along with announcing the album, Monét released the single “Reach Out,” as well as an accompanying music video, on Wednesday. “Reach Out” follows “Let Me,” which she released over the spring. Monét is currently on the road in support of Bruno Mars’s ongoing Romantic Tour, where she’s been performing across Europe over the summer. She’ll play in London on Wednesday night at Wembley Stadium.

As THR first reported last fall, Monét will be heading into her next era with some new representation, as she signed on with Full Stop for management, where she is repped by Jeffrey Azoff, Anna Savage, Shawn Holiday and Sam Weiss.

Before breaking out on her own, Monét had established herself as a respected songwriter, where she wrote hits including Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings,” “Thank U, Next” and “34+35” as well as Selena Gomez and Blackpink’s “Ice Cream.”
