Across mobile, PC and console platforms, the video game industry is estimated to reach $213.9 billion in revenue this year — and the highly anticipated November release of “Grand Theft Auto VI” is a major reason why.

According to gaming industry market research firm Newzoo‘s “Global Games Market Report 2026,” gamers are eager to return to Vice City: the game tops the “adventure” genre on pre-order revenue alone, months ahead of its November launch.
