Getty Images Warner Bros. new specialty label Clockwork is in exclusive negotiations for a North American deal for starry Western “The Brigands of Rattlecreek,” directed by Cannes jury president Park Chan-Wook. The long-gestating project, which was one of the buzziest packages in Cannes, is set to star Matthew McConaughey, Austin Butler, Pedro Pascal and Tang Wei.
Clockwork is already ticking along after announcing at CinemaCon that it had acquired Sean Baker’s “Anora” follow-up “Ti Amo!” in April. The budding label will also release Ken Russell’s “The Devils” in October after the Cannes premiere of the restored version. Clockwork is led by former Neon executive Christian Parkes.
