Darline Graham Nordone, the sister of late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), will be sworn in to serve the remainder of the term on Tuesday afternoon, two days after her brother died at age 71 from an aortic dissection.

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) appointed Nordone, who was backed by President Trump, on Monday to complete the last few months of Graham’s term.

The ceremony on the Senate floor is expected to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
