Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) will join with survivors of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to voice their opposition to President Trump’s nomination of acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to serve full-time as the nation’s top federal prosecutor.

Blanche was grilled by senators earlier Wednesday about the Justice Department’s handle on the files related to Epstein, Trump’s recent IRS settlement, the now defunct “anti-weaponization” fund and more during a confirmation hearing.

The press conference at the Capitol is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
