U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will testify before the House Ways and Means Committee on Wednesday morning about President Trump’s trade agenda.
The hearing comes just over two months after the Supreme Court struck down the bulk of Trump’s global tariffs. In response, the president imposed a 10 percent global tariff that has also faced legal hurdles.
Trump, in his fiscal 2027 budget request, is seeking a $10 million increase above the 2026 enacted level for trade investment as part of his “America First” agenda.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
