The elusive Cooper Flagg NBA Rookie Debut Patch Autograph card has yet to be pulled, days after it was randomly inserted in the 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Series Basketball Cards release.

Flagg, the 2025 NBA Rookie of the Year, signed the card at Fanatics Fest last month, and the one-of-one chase card immediately became one of the biggest chase cards of the basketball season. The hunt for Flagg’s autographed card accelerated Thursday when the Dallas Mavericks announced a proposed deal that would include two premium lower-level season tickets for the next 32 years (a nod to Flagg’s jersey number), a VIP tour of American Airlines Center, signed merch, and a photo op with the team’s star forward in exchange for the card.

As expected, the Topps Chrome Updates set has become a huge seller, and while the cards have sold out in most places online, we’ve spotted boxes still in stock at Amazon. You’ll obviously want to act fast and pick up the basketball card set while it’s still in stock.

In addition to the potential Cooper Flagg pull, the 2025-26 Topps Chrome Updates Basketball Cards Blaster Box includes other “patch” cards, which embed actual fabric from game-worn NBA debut jerseys. Other grails include autographed cards, rainbow Chrome parallels, 10 Alter Egos SSPs (which depict players as superheroes), and a Minions NBA collab, which re-imagines basketball stars as the animated characters.

The 200-card base set features a mix of rookies, veterans and retired NBA legends, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Victor Wembanyama, Anthony Edwards, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The Topps set was released Aug. 6 and now the wait begins to see who pulls the Flagg card.

In addition to the season tickets and photo op with Flagg, the Mavericks’ proposed deal includes airfare, accommodations and tickets to see the team play at a road game, plus a photo op with Flagg’s Rookie of the Year trophy and the Larry O’Brien Trophy (which the New York Knicks won last season).

Of course, this is just a proposed deal, meaning there’s nothing binding the lucky recipient of the card from trading it to the Mavs. Some observers speculate Flagg’s signed rookie card could be worth as much as $1.1 million, so whoever pulls it from their pack may want to think twice before parting with it.

The 2026-27 NBA regular season begins in October.
