Credit: Gari Askew “Thunderbolts” and “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” star Wyatt Russell has been cast John Carroll Lynch’s upcoming comedy “Happy,” joining Asa Butterfield (“Sex Education”), Mark Strong (“1917”), Kyra Sedgwick (“The Closer”), Brittany O’Grady (“The White Lotus”) and Patti Harrison (“Together Together”).
First announced by Variety, the film is described as “what may be the worst first meeting with your partner’s parents ever committed to film.” It was written by Ira Steven Behr (“Outlander”) and marks the second feature directed by Lynch, whose acclaimed offbeat debut “Lucky” starred Harry Dean Stanton and director David Lynch.
