Courtesy Paramount+ Daisy Ridley is about to go on another epic journey. Ridley is set to star in and executive produce “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea,” an eight-episode series that has been ordered by Paramount+.
Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman (“A Beautiful Mind”) is set to write and executive produce the series, while Matt Shakman (“WandaVision”) is on board as director and executive producer. Jon Jashni is also exec producer, while Derek Thielges is co-producer. (The project has been in the works for months, prior to the recent changes at Paramount+ parent Skydance.)
