A viral FIFA World Cup fan who deleted his social media account after Germany lost received a public invite to the White House on Wednesday by Nick Adams, a controversial MAGA influencer who currently serves as the Special Presidential Envoy for American Tourism, Exceptionalism and Values.

The tourist, who goes by FreddyLA7 online, said he removed his account after being bullied for “having a genuinely good time” in the U.S. amid the global soccer matches.

“I arranged a visit to the White House for Freddy, the viral FIFA World Cup tourist from Germany, to cap off what has been an epic FIFA World Cup visit to the United States.

“Despite the hateful and angry radical Left’s vicious attempts to doxx Freddy, launch personal attacks, and intimidate him into submission, ultimately forcing him to delete his social media accounts to protect his peace and safety, the West Wing visit will still take place,” Adams wrote in a statement posted to X.

“Freddy’s only ‘crime’ was loving America and documenting his travels in a completely non-partisan way. This is what they do. They try to scare and silence anyone who doesn’t conform,” he added.

The FreddyLA7 account amassed over 700,000 followers as he drove across the Southern states of Louisiana and Texas to tour sports facilities, universities and the NASA Space Center.

He later attended Portugal’s World Cup match against Congo in Houston.

“Deactivating after a bad loss, the most American thing you can do,” one person wrote in a post on X, when the news of his account deletion broke.

Instead of posting an image of himself for the profile photo, his account had a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese professional soccer player.

Other details about the fan are largely obscure, however, he told the German newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt  that he was a student in his twenties who studies media management.

He originated from Hamburg, Germany.
