Vision Distribution Maddalena Ravagli, who is known for penning some of the most successful Italian scripted series including “Gomorrah” and “ZeroZeroZero,” is making her directorial debut with Sicily-set story “The Place of Eternal Summer” (“La terra dell’estate”).
Shooting is now underway in Sicilian locations on Ravagli’s first feature, which will mix coming-of-age and action movie tropes under the blazing Sicilian sun. Ravagli co-wrote the screenplay with her “Gomorrah” and “ZeroZeroZero” co-writer Leonardo Fasoli.
