Northamptonshire head coach Darren Lehmann has signed a new two-year contract extension until the end of the 2029 season.
The former Australia batter, 56, was appointed in October 2024 and led Northants to T20 Finals Day for the first time in nine years during his first campaign in charge, including an impressive quarter-final win against Surrey.
The club have drawn all three County Championship matches this season and sit second in Division Two.
"It was an easy decision for me because I love the place," said Lehmann.
"Everyone has made it such a family club for me, so I'm delighted to be carrying on here.
"We just want to keep improving and hopefully we represent the club proudly along the way."

Lehmann, who signed a one-year extension last August, was Australia head coach from 2013 to 2018, winning two Ashes series and the 2015 World Cup.
He has also coached Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Sheffield Shield and Brisbane Heat in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL).
"We're all thrilled to have secured Darren's services for another two years. It's been an excellent fit since his first day and he's taking the club in a really positive direction," said Northamptonshire CEO Ray Payne.
"Darren's transparency and connection with the supporters has made a notable impact and the excitement around what the following years could bring on the field is a testament to his work so far."
Northamptonshire host Worcestershire in their next match, starting on Friday, 1 May.
