Shakira Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Shakira Shakira became the latest artist to draw an audience of millions to Brazil’s Copacabana Beach as the singer performed a hits-filled free concert on Saturday.
An estimated 2 million people attended the show in Rio De Janeiro, where Shakira delivered a nearly 30-song set that included guest appearances by Anitta, Maria Bethania, and Caetano Veloso.
“I arrived here when I was 18 years old, dreaming about singing for you,” the Colombian-born Shakira told the crowd shortly after taking the stage. “And now look at this. Life is magical.”
Shakira’s set included hits like “Hips Don’t Lie,” “She Wolf,” “BZRP Music Sessions #53,” “La Tortura,” “Waka Waka,” “Whenever, Wherever,” and “Choka Choka” featuring surprise guest Anitta:
