The New York Giants are trading three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals in a blockbuster deal for the No. 10 pick in next week's draft, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal is Lawrence for the No. 10 pick straight up, a source said. The trade comes after Lawrence and the Giants reached an impasse in negotiations on a new extension for the veteran tackle.
Lawrence is scheduled to travel to Cincinnati on Sunday for a physical that that would make the trade official.
The Giants, in their first year under new head coach John Harbaugh, head into the draft with the No. 5 and 10 overall picks.
